I don’t really know what to say about Haiti. Like the rest of the world, I’ve watched in horror. Such a tiny little place, already struck by such trouble.  But at the same time, miracles as people are pulled out of the rubble. The silver lining about tragedies like Haiti is how it brings out the best in all of us.

Craft Hope  are a community of women, joined not only by their love of craft, but by their compassion. I knew nothing of their existence until I read about them a couple of days ago on PurlBee. Craft Hope have set up an Etsy shop, where crafters from all over the world have donated items for sale. All funds are going to Medecins Sans Frontiers in Haiti. Craft donations have closed for the moment, but you can still buy items here. As of writing, they have raised over USD $27,000. What magic women do when they get together.
