1 Million Women

Well, I’ve fallen off the face of the earth again, haven’t I? It’s been a trying couple of weeks, and I’m a little distracted, but I’m alive and kicking, and normal-ish broadcast shall resume shortly. Quite possibly even some craft, which I assure you is frantically taking place. Because that was the raison d’etre for this blog, well craft and feminist ramblings. Cos you know, when I finish the crochet, the revolution will take place. Although if I get the revolution organised, perhaps there will be more time for craft.

Anyways, the reason I’m taking up your time this morning is to direct you to One Million Women. I found the link this morning when I was catching up with Lisa’s trip to Tokyo. (Have you been to Lisa’s blog? It’s rather fabulous, and I implore you to visit her now.)  Natalie Isaacs and Michelle Grosvenor have joined forces and created the One Million Women campaign. They want one million women to reduce their carbon emissions by one tonne within 12 months of signing up.  They have great tips for cutting CO2, and you can track your progress as you go. All you have to do is go to the website and sign up. I just did. We have to, cos as PM Kev has shown, the boys ain’t gonna do it.
